Chakir Organization is a non-profit dedicated to caring for stray and abandoned animals, inspired by the story of a young Moroccan named Chakir who devoted his life to rescuing stray dogs in the rural areas around Tetouan.

In the small village of Ouchtam, Shakir stood in the middle of a dusty yard, gazing with tired eyes at the primitive shelter he had just built. It was merely a collection of dilapidated wooden poles supporting a roof of corroded tin, but it was all he could provide for the dogs he had rescued. "This won't be enough," he whispered to himself as he heard Noor's faint bark from inside. His heart ached every time he thought of the conditions in which he had found her, locked in an iron cage with her siblings Faris and Layla.

A Journey of Hope
There was a dog named “Raad” living in the forests of Ouchtam, in northern Morocco. Raad was a strong and brave dog, with thick fur and distinctive colors of black and white. But behind that beautiful appearance lay a story full of suffering and pain.
Raad had a tough life from an early age. He was initially part of a pack of dogs used by hunters, but his life took a tragic turn when he got caught in a metal trap, injuring one of his legs. Abandoned in the forest, wounded and hungry, he struggled to survive. His wounds were festering and infested with worms, emitting a foul odor. Raad was motionless, barely breathing …
